Wolfson Children’s Hospital opens new specialty center location in Lake City

New location expands Wolfson Children’s convenient outpatient care for children in Columbia County and beyond

Lake City, Florida -

The Wolfson Children’s Specialty Center – Columbia County has relocated to a new space at 3650 NW DeVane Street, expanding its services and enhancing access to specialists and high-quality, outpatient pediatric care for children in Columbia County and surrounding communities.

Wolfson Children’s Specialty Center – Columbia County provides outpatient pediatric subspecialty care in cardiology; otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), physical, occupational and speech rehabilitation therapies; and urology. The Columbia County specialty center is staffed by the hospital’s partners in pediatric health care, Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, Jacksonville, and the University of Florida College of Medicine — Jacksonville.

Our new specialty care location will allow families from Columbia County and the surrounding region to receive world-class pediatric care for their children without having to travel long distances.”

Wolfson Children’s opened its original Lake City specialty center in June 2011. The new 5,400-square-foot location is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy spaces, including a sensory room to serve patients with language, learning or emotional difficulties. It includes a large gym equipped with swings, and a rock wall for physical and occupational therapy treatments. More specialties, including pediatric audiology and orthopedic/sports medicine services, are coming soon.
