Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Nurse Manager in our NICU at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a full time day shift position. Our Level IV NICU is staffed with an unparalleled team of neonatal nurses, neonatologist and maternal-fetal specialists, 24 hours a day, providing the highest level of intensive care designated in Florida. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily operations of a nursing unit and supervising the nursing personnel in a particular unit or department. Other duties include: 

  • Delegates tasks to a nursing staff, manages and checks the nursing schedule, ensures that all shifts are covered
  • Oversees patient care, make management and budgetary decisions, coordinate meetings, and make personnel decisions.
  • Responsible for recruiting new team members and conducting performance reviews.
  • Cert Note: ACLS & PALS not required for NICU Nurse Manager - NRP is required.

Experience
